Precious TL Jackson, MA LCMHC-S, CCMC, BC-TMH

Director of Therapeutic Services

Although Precious Jackson counsels all age populations, she enjoys and has a special interest in working with children and adolescents. She realizes that children, during art and play therapy have their own languages. She combines verbal therapy, art therapy, and a variety of developmentally based play therapies to assist children, (especially the younger ones), with self-expression and with understanding the world on their own level.

Mrs. Jackson is certified in Trauma Focus Therapy. She is a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider, and a certified Clinical Military Counselor.

In a world of chaos, where hope is seemingly lost, finding balance can be difficult. Life can be challenging no matter what stage you are currently living in. There are however, advantages to receiving counseling. Participating in counseling helps a person cope with their challenges, hopefully within a timely manner.

“I cannot promise you a quick resolution to your problems, but can dedicate myself to you by offering assistance in a time frame that will address your needs”, states Mrs. Jackson. “In order to achieve change, there must be a commitment to time and hard work as the client and the counselor work together”.

Mrs. Jackson observes interactions, behaviors, and temperaments of each person. She is attentive to the different ways family, friends, and society can influence an individual. While assessing the situation, her focus is on the present as she allows the individual to reflect on their past for the sole purpose of promoting change and growth in their lives. Her method of teaching offers new skills which will bring the individual to a new level of responsibility as she shares encouragement and support in helping individuals stay the course.
